Bill Keen was the tender age of 25 years when he had a desire to go into business and provide a stable life for his young family. Bill owned a small car detailing busines on the Victorian border of Albury/Wodonga when the 1980’s recession hit putting Bill out of business. Like the true aussie trooper he is he did not let this downturn prevent him from his dreams for his family.

Bill decided to start a carpet steam cleaning business (Aldonga Cleaning) but with no funds to support his dream he had a gentleman’s hand shake with a gentleman who had a steam cleaner for sale and allowed Bill to pay off the machine as he got himself up and running, this was the moment in history that would become the birth and success of Cleaning Wizard Australia ………

Aldonga Cleaning was rapidly growing and Bill continued to expand the business and restructure with the continuous growth. Bill brought a partner into the company and renamed the company Cleaning Wizard Australia Pty Ltd. The new and keen partners decided to take on Victoria’s capital Melbourne.

Within a short time frame the business became a serious competitor within the cleaning industry with rapid growth within companies such as Woolworths and Ritchies Supermarkets.

The rest is really history in the making and is a continued success story on a national level, as Bill's eldest daughter Sandra spent most of her working career within the company under the direction of her father. Bill has taught and trained Sandra within all facets of the company and cleaning industry since she joined the team after finishing her VCE.

Bill recently stepped back in order to enjoy his success and Sandra stepped into her father’s shoes. Sandra is excited to continue to write the next chapter of Cleaning Wizard’s story……….
